We’re proud to see NJEA highlighting one of Clayton Public School District’s longstanding traditions - our “New Employee” Bus Tour!

For decades, new members of the Clayton family have started their journey with a tour of the community alongside veteran staff, administrators and union leaders. It’s an opportunity to learn about the town our students call home, its history, and the people and places that make Clayton special.

NJEA published the feature on August 13, 2026, using photos and video from our 2025 New Employee Bus Tour to showcase this Clayton tradition.
