Lifeguard Stand by Paige Cope

Lifeguard Stand by Paige CopeLifeguard Stand by Paige CopeClayton High School Art Club member Paige Cope recently participated in the themed exhibition “Landscapes, Seascapes, and Cityscapes” at the Hammonton Arts Center.

Paige was the only CHS Art Club student to submit artwork to the exhibition, demonstrating initiative, confidence, and a willingness to share her creativity with a public audience.

Her acrylic painting, Lifeguard Stand, was very well received by members of the Arts Center, who praised her technique, thoughtful composition, and beautiful use of a soft pastel color palette. Painted in an impressionistic style, the piece captures a peaceful beach scene illuminated by a vibrant sunset sky, creating a strong sense of atmosphere and emotion.

The Hammonton Arts Center was especially excited to feature a student artist in the exhibition, and Paige represented Clayton High School with creativity and professionalism throughout the experience.

Her accomplishment serves as a wonderful example of the opportunities available to young artists who choose to share their work beyond the classroom. CPSD hopes Paige’s experience inspires other students to participate in future exhibitions and continue growing as artists within the larger creative community.

The “Landscapes, Seascapes, and Cityscapes” exhibition will be on display through the month of May at the Hammonton Arts Center, located at 10 S Second Street, Hammonton, NJ.
