From finding Mrs. Fragoso as an elf sitting on a shelf, to traveling reindeer games with Mrs. Matthews and Mrs. Summerfield from classroom to classroom giving kids chances at prizes and lots of fun, to our secretaries making sure we had daily book vending machine winners, it’s been such a great week filled with kids’ smiles and giggles. BEST TEAM EVER!! Even Clippy had an adventure zip-lining across the cafeteria! We love our kids and work every day to make sure they love where they learn. 🎄🦌📚🎁

✔️ Your form helps bring funding, programs, and resources directly to our Clayton students.

✔️ If you already submitted a Free Meal Form for the 2025–2026 school year, you do NOT need to submit another one. We already have it on file, and your household will be entered into the raffle automatically. (No calls regarding application submissions will be accepted. If you are unsure about whether you applied for this school year, you are welcome to reapply.)

Due to the overnight freezing temperatures and icy conditions Clayton Public Schools will be on a 2 Hour Delay Schedule for Monday 12/15/25.

What a week of cheer and school spirit!From festive wear, ugly sweaters, flannels, winter gear, and creative outfits, our halls were full of smiles. ✨ We wrapped up Tuesday with a Varsity Vibes staff meeting focused on team building, rooted in Mrs. Fragoso’s commitment to bringing joy and connection to our staff. 💙🤝 Mrs. Alymer’s class ended the week by making Grinch Punch, and students looked forward to daily book vending giveaways that kept the excitement and love of reading going all week long. Our secretaries also worked as elves, helping ensure the week ran smoothly for everyone. ❤️Thank you to our HSA for the Holiday Shoppe and for rewarding our Penny Wars winners with a personally delivered ice cream party. 🍦🎁 Our school showed up all week with incredible spirit and even bigger hearts. 💚💫

CONGRATULATIONS to Ms. Reuter, our 2026 Educator of the Year for Simmons Elementary! Ms. Reuter is an incredible teacher who brings her A-game every single day. She's a true team player and an all-around rock star! She has had a significant impact on our preschool disabled program over the past few years and this recognition is well-deserved!
