💙 School Resource Officer Appreciation Day💙
While Clayton Public Schools were closed on February 15 in observance of Presidents’ Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank Officer Tim Brown and Officer Rich Lunt for the meaningful role they play in our schools.
Through their daily presence, they help foster safe, supportive learning environments and build strong connections with our students and staff.
“Officer Brown and Officer Lunt exemplify the strong partnership between our schools and our community. More than officers, they are mentors and trusted role models whose commitment to safety strengthens our schools every day.” — Mr. Nikolaos Koutsogiannis, Superintendent
Thank you, Officer Brown and Officer Lunt, for all you do for Clayton Public Schools. 💙💛

Sending your child to school with lunch from home?
Did you know they can still grab cafeteria items at zero cost?
Students may:
✅ Select at least 3 of the 5 food groups
✅ Make sure 1 item is a fruit or vegetable
It’s a simple way to keep meals balanced and nutritious! 💚

Today we recognize Presidents’ Day and honor the individuals who have served as President of the United States. We reflect on the history, leadership, and civic responsibilities that shape our nation and encourage our students to continue learning about the role of government and civic engagement.

There was a power outage in town which temporarily affected the high school's/middle school's main power source. During this time, we utilized the back up generator to maintain all essential power. At all times, students and staff remained safe, and our established safety procedures were followed throughout the brief interruption. Currently our power has been restored and we have continued resuming normal school functions.
Thank you,
Mr. Slater
