Today we recognize Presidents’ Day and honor the individuals who have served as President of the United States. We reflect on the history, leadership, and civic responsibilities that shape our nation and encourage our students to continue learning about the role of government and civic engagement.
Clayton Middle School proudly welcomed 10 new members into the National Junior Honor Society during this year’s induction ceremony — bringing our total NJHS membership to 23 outstanding scholars.
It was a truly beautiful ceremony recognizing the hard work, character, leadership, and commitment of our students.
A heartfelt thank you to:
💜 Ms. Pancoast & Ms. Rider for their years of dedication, thoughtful planning, and unwavering TLC in leading NJHS.
💜 Ms. Papakostas for stepping in to support and help ensure the evening ran seamlessly.
💜 Mr. Cuff and his cadets for welcoming guests and honoring the Flag with pride and professionalism.
We were especially moved by the student-led memorial tribute to Mrs. Rider, beautifully presented by Nico Palmer, Arianaa Sorenson, and Leah Schauers. Purple bracelets were worn in her memory — a touching reminder that her impact continues to live on in our school community.
