At the May meeting of the Gloucester County School Boards Association, seven of our School Board members were recognized for eight certifications achieved from the New Jersey School Boards Association. Mrs. Robin Roche was also recognized for ten years of service on the Board. Our Board received more individual certifications than any other School District in either Camden or Gloucester County at this meeting.

As a S.U.R.E Mentor, you'll serve as a positive role model, facilitate group activities, promote inclusivity, and foster connections among students, while also enhancing your own leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role will allow you to make a meaningful impact, boost your confidence, and provide valuable life lessons for the future.
Who Should Apply:
*10th, 11th, or 12th grade students for the 2025-2026 school year
*Students with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (C average) or those demonstrating strong leadership potential *Positive, flexible, and supportive individuals eager to make a difference
Applications for New S.U.R.E. Mentors can be found in either the SCC Office or the High School Main Office. Complete the application and have two recommendation forms submitted directly by your teachers or staff members.

Last week, students from Clayton participated in a Unified Track Meet held at Glassboro High School. The events included Shot Put, Running Long Jump, 100m, 200m, 400m, and the 4x100m Relay. Each unified athlete showcased their dedication and put forth their best effort. Notably, Navnoor earned 2nd place in the 400m event.
The unified partners were exceptional, working closely with the athletes and providing encouragement and support.

Congratulations to Matthew Rodriguez (grade 6) on his nomination, acceptance, and performance in the South Jersey Band Director's Association Elementary Honor Band. The organization primarily accepts sixth graders from the south jersey region to perform in a one day honor band festival, at Absegami High School.
